Smart, Sweet, and Sad.
Titan has a new thing.
Every time my husband leaves for work or school, Titan grabs my husbands shoes, passes it to him, and says "here you go" (he says this whenever he passes something to us). Then, he follows daddy to the door thinking he's going to go with him and he says (go.. go). When my husband leaves and closes the door after saying I love you and buh-bye, Titan starts crying. :( Then he runs to the couch to open the blinds and watch his daddy drive away. How sad and sweet is that?

Tayven is going to grow up and be a family man.
I’m hoping his attitude and personality doesn’t change too much as he gets older.
Tonight, my husband and I were asking him how his Valentine’s party at school went. He said that he played pin the tail on the donkey and he won (not sure if he is story telling.. LOL). Anyway, he then said that he won $100 and he has to pick it up tomorrow (this def. is story telling!). So, Daddy asks him, “Tay what are you going to do with the money?”
And Tayven says (seriously, mind you), “I’m going to buy you guys stuff and food (yep, he’s definitely my son!). I’m going to buy you guys food and electric.”
Sounds silly but he is actually so mature for his age. He is thinking about taking care of his parents and (sadly) about paying bills. “/ His first answer was NOT something for himself, but for us. He makes me proud. VERY proud. =)
My birthday & Valentine's Day
Last night after my husband got off of work, he came home and was searching around for something.
Then, he goes back outside and comes in singing happy birthday. He is holding 3 pieces of cake stacked on top of each other on a paper plate. lol Sounds silly, I know but Walmart and the other grocery store was closed so he went to the gas station and bought those individual cake pieces. He drove around looking for a store and looking for a candle. Anyway, it was so sweet because of the effort he put into it! He was bummed that he couldn’t find a candle, but I loved it.
Then, this morning I went to Walmart when I woke up to buy some things because Tayven has his Valentine’s party at school today. I bought his class some lollipop valentines. I also bought the hubby a gift! We usually don’t buy each other things for Valentine’s Day (well we haven’t for the last few years), but after his efforts last night plus working and going to school he deserved something! Here's what I got him:
I got home and woke Tay up. He put stickers and wrote his name on each Valentine. Then he got ready for school and left.

Today was great!
I haven't had a day go this well in a LONG time. Today was Tayven's Christmas performance/party. I woke up and then woke Tayven up. His bus decides to come on time instead of 10-15 minutes late, so Tay isn't ready. I landed up having to drop him off. I got home, got the two kiddos ready, and the hubby got ready. Since my digital camera broke, I had to stop at the store to buy a disposable camera. I decided to stop at the store nearest Tay's school instead of Walmart and had no idea where it was. I asked a cashier, waited in line, and finally were were on our way to his school.
I was bummed when I arrived and they had already sung their songs. :( We weren't even that late and the performance was done. When we showed up, they were decorating gingerbread houses. Trenton and I sat with Tay and helped him decorate his. The hubby was holding Titan and taking pictures of us. Then, they had some surprise visitors! Santa and Mrs. Claus came!! Tayven and Trenton both sat on his lap and talked to him. . Tay's teachers told me to get Titan up there too and Mrs. Claus said she would hold him. He was fine until he turned and look up to see who was holding him and he screamed! lol Good thing I got some pictures before he started screaming.
I was talking to his teacher and asking how he was in school. I asked if he was shy and she said no, far from it. She said when they were practicing singing Christmas songs, Tay was the loudest hehe. She said he talks and plays great with the other kids, but when it was time to perform in front of the parents he got shy and didn't want to do it. I felt kinda better that I didn't miss much since he was too shy but it stinks that he's like me and is shy in front of people.
We got some cookies and hot cocoa before leaving. We had a good time. I'll get pictures up when we get the camera developed.
Anyway, we got home to our CLEAN house (we'll see how long this lasts hehe), ate lunch, and now everyone is taking a nap but me.

I hate to be a quitter
but I have given up on the Reverb10. I am way behind and do not feel like playing more catch up. Plus, I'm on break from school and am spending more time with my family and crocheting. :)
It was fun while it lasted.. lol.

My Day
Got up, went down stairs to talk to our rental manager to get a copy of our old lease, came back up and got Titan ready. I got ready and the two of us left to his dr's appt. About 20 minutes after we left, the hubby woke Tayven up, got him ready and got him on the bus for school.
Titan didn't care for his doctor or his nurse.. he cried even when they weren't touching him! lol He's still freaking 22 lbs. He gained like 1/2 a pound in TWO months! ugh. I'm going to fatten this kid up. My doctor thinks maybe my milk supply is diminishing but I don't think it is. I honestly am not sure how to tell if it is. I think it's because he never cared for baby food and so I stopped feeding it to him. I've just been feeding him from my plate. Idk but the doc will see him again at the end of January to see if he gains weight. I'm going to be feeding him like crazy lol. He was 22 lbs which is only the 61 percentile and 31 in. which is the 93 percentile.
He was a bit above average for his milestones and development which is good. :)
After his appt, we came home, hung out, and waited for the hubby to get home from school to have dinner. Now, we're just hanging out in the living room watching TV.

On my mind this week.
10 things on my mind this week.. in no particular order.
1. Looking for a car to buy. Who would have thought it would be SO HARD to find a decent car that runs with no mechanical problem and is in our price range? It is beyond frustrating and we are desperate.
2. Finding a washer/dryer. We have so much dirty laundry; it's not even funny. Having to get a ride and have money to get quarters, having to drag my kids with me to wash clothes, and with 5 of us, I can just never keep up. It's ridiculous.
3. Going home to Hawaii to visit! I just keep thinking about going back and hoping the weeks will just fly on by. I can't wait for so many things.
4. Thanksgiving.. wondering if we will celebrate or not.
5. Art and Crafts to do with the boys. I bought some finger paint, so I think we will be doing that this week.. Well, if I can get most of my school work squared away.
6. Crochet! I have a bunch of projects I am working on and projects I want to work on. hehe
7. Homework/School. I have papers to write, peer reviews to do, along with discussions and other assignments. I hate having homework always on the back of my mind when I'm trying to do family things and housework. It stresses me out.
8. Finding our cell phone. Ugh. :( I wish it would just pop up.
9. Errands I need to run and paperwork I have to fill out. Stuff for Tay's school, for hubby's school, and for the boys' doctor.
10. How fast my boys are growing :(

Another Update!
We are finally all moved in to the new apartment and the old one is all clean. Moving was so stressful. My husband had moved all the big, heavy things and I pretty much had to move everything else because he is at school during the day and then he has tutoring in the evening. He also hurt his ankle/achilles (he doesn't know which) so walking to school, back home, and then up and down the stairs already caused him enough pain. Trying to move things over while keeping an eye on the 3 kids (more like get them to stay in the new apartment) was simply not simple. On top of moving, I had homework and papers to write. Also, as if that wasn't enough, my boys were sick while we were moving. Trenton vomited eight times on the day we moved most of the things over. I almost had a breakdown and gave up. Just thinking and writing about it makes me stressed out.
Anyway, I'm glad that is over.
Tayven is still in school and loves it. He brought home his school pictures.. and guess what? He didn't smile! We practiced that morning! This child of mine!! It's okay though; he still looks handsome. :) I need to get them sent out to my mom so she can hand them out to my our family back home.
My kids are crazy. With winter coming along (it snowed yesterday, ugh) they will be cooped up in this house AGAIN and it sucks. Winter is depressing except for Christmas. Trenton is talking lots and just being his naughty 2-year-old self. Titan is starting to learn to walk. So far, he has taken 2 steps. He is still a bit scared to stand so he'll stand for a few seconds and then slowly sit back onto his butt.
We are looking for a car to buy. I've had no luck on KSL because all the cars in our price range, so far, either have a mechanical problem or a mileage of 170,000 and up. I really hope we can find something... We just need something that runs and will be safe during winter. I'll keep praying that something comes along. I am beyond tired of asking people for a ride. The past few weeks, we've been walking to Kent's but now the good ol' winter is here we can't do that anymore. So, if you are in Utah or know someone who is, please keep an eye for cars for sale! =)

An update since it's been a while
This week has been crazy with school work among other things. This is pretty much my last week of these three classes (I just have a couple things to do next week). I have a 2 final exams due and a regular weekly exam due this week, along with all of the other assignments, labs, and discussions that I already turned in.
Anyway, I figured I would give an update =)
Tayven is doing pretty well. He is bored at home (mostly because I've been busy with school work the last few weeks). I really wish he was going to school this year-- only for the fact that he wants to go. My sister, Kandi, sent us a bunch of workbooks that she got from her job, so during my two weeks off after these classes we will be working on those!
Trenton is completely potty trained at 27 months old. I'm so proud of him! He now can go pee by himself. He grabs the stool, places it in front of the toilet, then climbs onto the toilet and pees. All I have to do a bit later is get him to stand and pee. He is also talking TONS more. He loves to talk on the phone-- it's his new thing, hehe. He loves to "fight" (rough & tumble) with Tayven and he loves to bug Titan and make him laugh.
Titan is crazy! He is doing so many things. He is cruising furniture now and his 4th tooth is currently popping through his gums. He can start crawling from a sitting position and then sit down from a crawling position. He's also trying to CLIMB onto the couch and STAND from a crawling position. Basically, he is very mobile. He calls me mama and reaches for me and daddy. He does not do too well around strangers, but that is because he is only around us 24/7. He waved hi for the 1st time today! He loves to "play" with his big brothers and follow them around the apartment. I think that's pretty much it for right now.
My hubby starts school on Wednesday. I'm excited for him to get out of this dang house. It'll be good for him, especially after being cooped up in the house for so long. The boys and I will miss him though. Like I mentioned above, I get two weeks off in between these classes and the next ones, so I'm super excited to spend time with my boys and get some much needed rearranging done!

No Bueno
I've been slacking in school...
I just don't feel any motivation to get my homework done. I don't do my "best" on my assignments and I wait till the last minute to do them. When I first started I was very into getting every single assignment done but now I am just doing things to not fail.. which is totally not good.
I just feel like I'd rather be doing things with the kids and not worrying or thinking about what is due and when. I have a lot of other things on my mind which is also playing a part on me not being able to concentrate on school. The concentrating is really bad. I'll go to read a chapter in my textbook and don't even understand what I'm reading and have to go back and read again (this never ever happens to me..until now) and I find myself only doing one discussion topic a day, which leaves me cramming everything else that is due on the weekend.
I need help or a break. "/

Company For Dinner
Today was kind of a busy day.
I woke up and started on my Psych paper that was due tonight. Then, I went to Walmart to get a bunch of groceries. We invited Reisa and Devon for dinner, so when I got home we had to clean up the house. I cleaned the bathroom and living room while the hubby cooked and cleaned the kitchen. Tayven helped me take out the trash and then he and Trenton played outside.
We had chicken enchiladas and shoyu chicken with rice. Then for dessert we had a turtle pie with neapolitan ice cream. Tayven had fun playing with Devon, Reisa was excited to see how big Titan is getting and that he had 2 teeth (lol she found out the hard way), and Trenton was just pooped out from playing and grocery shopping that he starting dozing off while eating!
Also today was day 3 of toilet training for Trenton and he did really well with NO accidents!! He even took a nap for a few hours and stayed dry. We bought him a Thomas seat thing that you just put on the regular toilet (i don't use those little pottys) only because he LOVES Thomas the train! We also bought a stepping stool to teach him to stand and pee later on. I'm very proud of him. Hopefully he'll be potty trained by the time he's 2 1/2 like Tayven was :)

AHHHHHHH!
I have a few ahhhh's to share.
The first one is that Titan's first tooth (bottom, left side) has come through! I am scared to get bit. He wants to bite down on everything and I am scared every time it is time to feed him.
The second is that my three classes started today. I have Psychology, Anatomy & Physiology II, and Anatomy & Physiology II Lab. There is so much work! I have no idea how I am going to do all of it along with being a mom of three. I just barely got through it the last time I had three classes.
The third is that I went to the dentist yesterday and found out that my impacted wisdom tooth is infected. I need to have it taken out by an oral surgeon. There are no oral surgeons where I live, so I have to travel to Prove which is an hour north of here. I have to be gone for approx. 3-4 and I won't be able to nurse Titan. So now I have to get him to learn to drink from a bottle before that day comes. Which makes me extremely sad... I hope that he still nurses from me when I get back. :(
I want to pull my hair out already, but I can't do that because I am already going bald. "/
Please pray for me that I will remain sane through the next two months!

Update on Tay's testing.
So I talked to the preschool and Tayven passed the test. I am so proud of him because he's smart but he's bummed because if I do decide to send him, it won't be until August. He did above average on 3 of the 5 and then average on the other 2. I guess I’ve been doing a pretty good job of teaching him myself. :)

I'm back.
So I have a lot to update on but it may be in a few different posts. First off I'll talk about Tayven's testing. On Friday he had to go to testing for preschool. I think he passed it lol. Hopefully he didn’t. I say this because if he passed it then he would start in August and it would be $50 a month but if he didn't pass then he would start this month and go for free.
He did act shy and kinda silly. When they would ask him questions he would look at me. He knew a lot of the things they tested him on. He only got a few things wrong. There were five categories he was tested on. It was cognitive, communication, motor skills, adaptive, and personal/social. He answered questions I didn’t even think he would answer. Like the lady asked him “Tayven if you were playing with a friend and she broke her leg, what would you do?” He said” tell somebody” Then she asked him “If a man said he has candy and tells you to come in his car, would you go with him” He said “no” while shaking his head :D Oh then she asked “If you were at a friends house playing and you didn’t want to play anymore what would you do?” He said “not play anymore” ! LOL duh? :P

He is writing at 7 or 8 year old level. The lady was surprised and called the manager over to ask if she should keep going hehe. I was like oh no! now you’re not going to get in for free :P but it’s ok I was proud of him. They said they would let me know and give me a call next week. I'm hoping they call tomorrow. It was overall a great experience because I found areas where he needs improvement and it was also nice to watch and see him put to use everything I taught him
If he passed it and I have to pay I don't think I'll send him because like Kili said, I've been teaching him everything he knows and he said I can teach him what they will without paying lol. I was doing it more for the social interaction but I don't know yet. We'll see.

M.I.A
I know I haven't posted in a few days but I've been trying to get all of my school work done. They were all due last night and today's my last day of these classes. For our so called "spring break", we're getting a week break in between these classes and the next one. During this week, I won't be on the computer. I'm just going to spend all of my time with the kids. I hate having to be on the computer everyday for school. Plus once I get on for school I land up on Facebook and other sites and then get stuck on the computer. So this break will be nice to just be with the boys. I will post when I get back and let you all know how my week went. :)

feeling not so shabby.
Things are just crap right now. I'm not going to go into detail on here but I just wanna say that I feel so down right now. I'm stressed with school, money, having no car, not living near family, missing my mom, missing my husband... It's just everything hitting me at once. I think I'll just leave it at that. :(

I'm Torn.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m feeling torn about school.
I’m feeling like I want to put school off for a while. I really feel like I should have waited until my kids were in school and just got a decent paying job to get us by. Then again the reason I started school was to get started while I’m not working and staying at home with the boys. But I realized that school takes up a lot of my time. Like I’ve mention in my last post, I’m making a lot of changes. I’m setting up a little classroom for the boys and I want to spend my times teaching and playing with them. After all they are only young once and they grow up so fast. :( I’m so torn.
A friend did suggest that I wake up earlier than the boys to get some work done and then getting more done when they are asleep. I guess I could do that… with lack of sleep seeing as I have an infant as well. I’m already lacking concentration on my work as is, imagine with the lack of sleep! I really don’t know. Maybe it’s this hard because I have three classes? Next semester I’ll have only one class, a hard one, but at least it’s just one.
I’m just going to keep praying about it but in the mean time do you have any suggestions?? What would you do??
I’m feeling like I want to put school off for a while. I really feel like I should have waited until my kids were in school and just got a decent paying job to get us by. Then again the reason I started school was to get started while I’m not working and staying at home with the boys. But I realized that school takes up a lot of my time. Like I’ve mention in my last post, I’m making a lot of changes. I’m setting up a little classroom for the boys and I want to spend my times teaching and playing with them. After all they are only young once and they grow up so fast. :( I’m so torn.
